2022 World Cup: I Can Still Make Brazil Squad To Qatar –Barbosa

Flamengo forward, Gabriel Barbosa has revealed his desire to represent Brazil at the fast approaching 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Barbosa, last played for Brazil against Ecuador during the qualifying series early this year, will be hoping to gatecrash the team.
However, in an interview with the Athletic, Barbosa stated that he’s still optimistic of making the squad to Qatar.
“It’d be a dream to go to the World Cup,” the Athletic quoted Barbosa as saying.
“I try to work as hard as I can. I believe actions are louder than words. I reinvented myself and I am enjoying it.I think that in the future when I stop playing ball, I want to look at myself and say: ‘Gee, I’m fulfilled.
“Of course I still need to improve in the air and my right foot. But nobody is perfect. But I believe I am on the way to reinventing myself.”
