Exclusive: Why Ndidi Must Step Up His Game At Leicester City –Babangida
|Super Eagles winger, Tijani Babangida has advised Wilfred Ndidi to step up his game at Leicester City in a bid to maintain his dominance in the team.
While Ndidi returned to the Foxes’ starting lineup and was on for about an hour before he was replaced by Youri Tielemans, Iheanacho in the team’s 2-1 loss to Liverpool.
He later came on as a substitute for Nampalys Mendy in Leicester City’s 1-0 loss at home to Fulham on Tuesday.
Ndidi has had an injury-plagued season as limited the midfielder to making 13 appearances overall.
He has started in eight of his appearances across 18 fixtures and been used as a substitute on five occasions.
However, in a chat with Stylenio.com, Babangida stated that Ndidi must ensure he keeps fit so as to regain his number one in the team.
“2022 was not really a good one for Ndidi considering the fact that he was plague by injury. However, I pray he keeps fit this term around in order to maintain his regular form in Leicester City.
“He’s a fighter and will definitely get back to his best.
