On their new collaboration, Bandmanrill and Fetty Wap sample Alicia Keys.

Bandmanrill is on a roll, and he just dropped a new collaboration with Fetty Wap.

The two New Jersey natives team up for their brand new single, “You Don’t Know My Name.” Bandmanrill’s latest release features an East Coast influence, as he combines a sample of Alicia Keys’ “You Don’t Know My Name” and a Jersey Club bounce. The combination of both highlights Bandmanrill’s vulnerability over the lush sample. Meanwhile, Fetty Wap brings his signature melodic style to the record. “You Don’t Know My Name” also serves as a bridge between a Jersey legend and the frontrunner for a new generation of artists.

Bandmanrill’s latest single is out a month after his debut album, Club Godfather. Skaiwater, NLE Choppa, Lay Bankz, Sha Ek, and DJ Swill B all made appearances on the project, which helped launch his reign.

Fetty Wap may be in prison, but that isn’t stopping him from being a presence on the streets and in the music industry. The rapper released his new single, “Sweet Yamz,” just before Thanksgiving. The Masego-sampled record received widespread acclaim, including a nod from Snoop Dogg, who declared it his favorite record of the year. Following the release of the song, he collaborated with College Achieve Paterson on a Thanksgiving giveaway.

In August, Fetty pled guilty to a drug conspiracy charge. He is awaiting sentencing but faces a five-year sentence. He’s clearly keeping his foot on the gas, though, and blessing fans with new music.
