In Sunday’s Serie A match, Napoli defeated AS Roma 1-0 thanks to a spectacular late goal from Victor Osimhen, maintaining their advantage at the top of the log.

Since 1929/30, Napoli has already won 11 straight games across all competitions for the second time in their history.

With 10 minutes remaining, Osimhen outmuscled Chris Smalling and smashed the ball past the Roma goalkeeper from a tight angle.

After six appearances, Osimhen has now scored in three straight games for Napoli, bringing his league total to three.

With 29 points, Napoli is still in first place in the league, just three points ahead of champions AC Milan.

Ademola Lookman played for Atalanta in a Serie A match that they lost 2-0 to Lazio at home.

Lookman was replaced by Duvan Zapata in the 71st minute.

In the 90th minute, Atalanta’s Luis Muriel was dismissed for getting two yellow cards.
