After receiving another personal honor, Brendan Rodgers, the manager of Leicester City, showered Jamie Vardy with praise.

After turning 30, Vardy became the first player to reach a century of Premier League goals.

In March, Vardy broke Ian Wright’s previous record of 93 goals. On Sunday, he came off the bench to finish Leicester’s 4-0 victory at Wolves to reach the milestone.
I’m happy for him, Rodgers remarked. “He’s been incredible. He gives us that appetite whether or not he starts. He is not at all a selfish player, but he enjoys scoring goals.

“Even when he’s not scoring, he still has an impact on the team.”
